Today I interviewed Kevin Jones, senior, and a prominent figure on the VCHS campus.
Q: What is your favorite quote? Mantra that you live by?
A: Juke squad do epic sh!t
Q: What does it feel like to be a senior? Do you have senioritis?
A: Oh yeah, it’s the 3rd week of school and I already have a D.
Q: What is your favorite color?
A: Blue, but like the tropical blue.
Q: What sports are you playing/ have played?
A: I’ve done cross country (4 years), track and field (1 year), basketball (1 year), baseball (1 year) and I’m planning to do track and field, volleyball and basketball this year.
Q: What are your future plans?
A: I’m hoping to get a ROTC army scholarship and take that to CSU Long Beach for kinesiology.
Q: What do you want to be when grow up?
A: A physical therapist.
Q: What is your biggest pet peeve?
A: I don’t like it when people chew out loud. I think that is really annoying.
Q: Favorite food?
Q: Favorite type of food?
A: Mexican Food.
Q: What is it like to be a student athlete?
A: It got its ups and downs, but it’s different from not doing a sport. Because during the offseason when I’m not running I find it a lot harder to get motivated to do my homework, but after practice I feel an incentive to do it because I’m running out of time and i’m already hyped up from working out.
Q: What is your favorite memory at VCHS?
A: Its gotta be powder puff, from being a cheerleader and landing my first backflip in front of everyone and not breaking my neck.
