Students go to Europe

During the presidents week off, Mr. Poole organized the annual Euro trip. This year some students of VCHS visited Italy and walked around the cities of Florence and Rome. We decided to interview Evan Maher, a sophomore and William Downey, a senior to tell us about their experience from this year’s trip.

What was your favorite city that you visited, and how come?

-Florence because it was more historic where as Rome felt more modernized

 

Did you try a different kind of food that you did not know of?

-Paninis

 

What was the coolest souvenir you brought back?

-my Roma jacket

Do you have any interesting stories from your trip?

-Yes, people threw rocks at us.

What was your favorite city that you visited, and how come?

– Zurich, Switzerland because the airport is really cool.

 

Did you try a different kind of food that you did not know of?

– Kinder Chocolate, it was so good.

 

What was the coolest souvenir you brought back?

-Gum, because it’s different then the US.

Do you have any interesting stories from your trip?

-The escalators are super long.
